Dr. Jared Kennedy, a native of Wagoner Oklahoma, earned his B.S. in Animal Science and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University in 2006. Upon graduation, Dr. Kennedy joined Pryor Veterinary Hospital.

 

Dr. Kennedy is versatile in his practice as he works with food animals, horses, dogs and cats.  His continuing education that supports his diverse medical practice includes Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association, North Eastern Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association, CVHS, Southwest Veterinary Symposium, OVMA, Animal Fall Conference and various other seminars.    He is an active member of the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association and Northeastern Veterinary Medical Association.

 

Dr. Kennedy says, “I chose veterinary medicine because it’s a hands-on field and I like working outside with the animals."

 

When Dr. Kennedy isn’t in the field, he’s raising commercial cattle with the help from his wife Melanie, daughter Addison and son Tug. If free time is found, the Kennedy’s will be hunting, fishing, ranching or spending time at home with their two dogs and two cats.
