Dr. Megan Cobble, a native of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University. Prior to completing her education with a one year internship in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery in 2015, she practiced small animal medicine in Tulsa for three years.
Dr. Cobble loves the diversity that comes with practicing small and large animal health. A few of her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, ruminant neonatal care, and cattle lameness. She belongs to the AVMA and OVMA. With these professional memberships and continuing education at the Southwest Veterinary Symposium, OVMA Conference, and OSU CVHS Summer Seminars; she maintains the most current training in all of her clinical interests.
Growing up on a cattle farm, she was active with animals. She began showing heifers and pigs in 4-H and continued through FFA. She states, “As far back as I can remember, I have enjoyed working with animals and especially loved working cows with my dad. It was my goal since the first grade to become a mixed animal vet. Dr. Letzig was always the one to come out and work on our animals. I always wanted to follow in his footsteps.”
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, training/playing with her dog "Allie", working on their cow/calf operation, quilting, traveling and attending OSU football games.
